ÉZÉKIEL 34 : 9 À 16 ***
9 à cause de cela, pasteurs, écoutez la parole de l’Eternel !
10 Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Eternel : Voici, j’en veux aux pasteurs ! Je reprendrai mes brebis d’entre leurs mains, je ne les laisserai plus paître mes brebis, et ils ne se paîtront plus eux-mêmes ; je délivrerai mes brebis de leur bouche, et elles ne seront plus pour eux une proie.
11 Car ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Eternel: Voici, j’aurai soin moi-même de mes brebis, et j’en ferai la revue.
12 Comme un pasteur inspecte son troupeau quand il est au milieu de ses brebis éparses, ainsi je ferai la revue de mes brebis, et je les recueillerai de tous les lieux où elles ont été dispersées au jour des nuages et de l’obscurité.
13 Je les retirerai d’entre les peuples, je les rassemblerai des diverses contrées, et je les ramènerai dans leur pays ; je les ferai paître sur les montagnes d’Israël, le long des ruisseaux, et dans tous les lieux habités du pays.
14 Je les ferai paître dans un bon pâturage, et leur demeure sera sur les montagnes élevées d’Israël ; là elles reposeront dans un agréable asile, et elles auront de gras pâturages sur les montagnes d’Israël.
15 C’est moi qui ferai paître mes brebis, c’est moi qui les ferai reposer, dit le Seigneur, l’Eternel.
16 Je chercherai celle qui était perdue, je ramènerai celle qui était égarée, je panserai celle qui est blessée, et je fortifierai celle qui est malade. Mais je détruirai celles qui sont grasses et vigoureuses. Je veux les paître avec justice.

34:9-10 Ce n’était pas une menace dans le vide, comme l’attestait le cas du roi Sédécias (cf. #Jér 52:10-11).

j’en ferai la revue. Dieu, le véritable berger, rechercherait et retrouverait ses brebis; ils restaurerait ainsi Israël en le ramenant sur sa terre en vue du royaume messianique (vv. #Ez 34:12-14).
34:12-14 Promesse d’un rassemblement et d’un retour, au sens littéral, d’Israël sur sa terre, après sa dispersion mondiale. Puisque la dispersion était littérale, le rassemblement ne peut que l’être aussi. Une fois rassemblés dans le royaume du Messie, ils n’endureront plus aucune privation (vv. #Ez 34:15-16).

au jour des nuages et de l’obscurité. Allusion au jugement du « jour de l’Eternel » sur Israël (cf. #Jér 30:4-7).
34:15-16
moi qui ferai paître mes brebis. Contrairement aux chefs qui recherchaient leur propre profit aux dépens du bien-être du troupeau, Dieu comblera les besoins de ses « brebis » (son peuple). C’est un écho au #Ps 23 qui sera accompli par le bon berger (#Jn 10:1ss), celui qui régnera sur Israël.

9 Because of this , shepherds, hear the word of the LORD !
10 Thus saith the Lord GOD : Behold, I am against the shepherds; I will take my sheep at their hand , I will leave more feed my flock , and they will graze over themselves, I will deliver my flock from their mouth, and they may not be food for them .
11 For thus saith the Lord GOD : Behold, I will take care myself of my sheep , and I will review .
12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock when he is among his scattered sheep , so will I seek out my sheep , and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark .
13 I will bring them out from the peoples , and will gather them from the countries , and bring them into their land, and I will feed them upon the mountains of Israel , by the watercourses , and in all the inhabited places of the country.
14 I will feed them in a good pasture , and their home will be on the high mountains of Israel there shall they lie in a good fold , and they have rich pastures on the mountains of Israel .
15 I will feed my flock, and I will make them lie down, saith the Lord GOD .
16 I will seek that which was lost , and bring again that which was driven away , and will bind up that which was broken , and will strengthen that which was sick . But I will destroy the fat and the strong . I will feed them with justice.

34:9-10 It was not a threat in space, as evidenced by the case of King Zedekiah (cf. Jer 52:10-11 # ) .
34:11
I will seek them out . God , the true shepherd, would seek and regain his sheep and they would restore Israel by bringing on his land for the Messianic kingdom (vv. # Ez 34:12-14 ) .
34:12-14 Promise a rally and back , literally, on the land of Israel , after its global dispersion. Since the dispersion was literal gathering can only be too. Once gathered in the kingdom of the Messiah , they do not endure any deprivation (vv. # Ez 34:15-16 ) .
34:12
a day of clouds and darkness . Referring to the judgment of the "Day of the Lord" on Israel (cf. Jer 30:4-7 # ) .
34:15-16
I will feed my sheep. Unlike leaders who sought their own profit at the expense of the welfare of the flock, God will fill the needs of "sheep" ( his people ) . This is an echo # Ps 23 which will be done by the Good Shepherd ( Jn 10:1 ff # ) , who will reign over Israel.
